- 1993 – The Company is founded as an outsourced IT department for a world-leading diagnostics and instrumentation manufacturer in Madison, Wisconsin, providing data processing services for its headquarters as well as 62 offices worldwide.
- Early 1990s - The Company grows in size, scope and clientele providing mainframe, hardware, software, communications and system integration services for enterprise locations spanning throughout the Midwest.
- 1996 - The Company officially registers its name as Network Engineering Technologies® (NET). NET continues to expand its capabilities and scope, growing into a complete, turnkey network infrastructure consultant and integrator.
- 1997 - The E-rate program is established to ensure all eligible schools have affordable access to modern telecommunications and information services. NET is commissioned by 62 school districts to install/support Internet and Ethernet capabilities that are tied together with Wide Area Networks (WAN)
- 1999 - NET begins work with the world's largest retailer offering assistance with service calls for the retailer's stores across the country.
- 2000-present - NET’s reputation of providing quality work and expert project management reaches Fortune 1000 clients in the retail, hospitality and financial sectors. NET’s clientele list expands with companies including Circuit City and CVS.

With a virtual labor force of over 2,000 NET-Certifiedsm technicians that are available 24/7, 365 days a year. NET provides complete lifecycle solutions from procurement services, site surveys, staging, installations, testing and full documentation services. Although NET has grown in size and scope, our mission and values of providing the highest level of customer service, exceptional quality and rapid response times with a no-nonsense approach to getting the job done on time, on budget and with complete integrity has remained the same.
