For over 16 years, one of the world's largest retailers has relied on NET to manage the quality installation of their paging, in-store music systems, point of sale terminals and other in-store technologies whenever they build a new store. This particular retailer uses CAT5e cabling and a series of fiber optic paths for connectivity. A new store, which can run 107,000 to 187,000 square feet on average, requires cabling be terminated and installed within a 3-week period. NET has provided this level of quality, consistency and efficiency over 300 times and counting for this particular client.
There are a number of steps involved in installing cabling and technology for a new store. However, schedules are tight and deadlines must be fulfilled as store opening dates are oftentimes already established.
Work is first coordinated with the site's general contractor for building, floor and conduit readiness. Lifts for the site are secured and NET Certified Technicians are sent to the site.
